We will develop the green and flower space creation business in a comprehensive manner, from planning, construction, and maintenance, based on high-quality seeds and seedlings, by advancing the green and flower management track record of numerous commercial and residential spaces and the management track record of parks and sports facilities as a designated manager, in addition to making the most of the strengths of the SAKATA Group’s, which is a plant professional. As part of the Sakata Seed Group, we leverage the strengths of a seed company to create green spaces where plants take center stage. Our goal is to deliver innovative designs and spatial experiences that captivate and inspire customers in residential and commercial facilities.
Original Product Development, Design, Installation, and Maintenance for Rooftop, Wall, and Indoor Greening
Our rooftop greening solutions utilize the Aqua Soil® Method (developed by Ikegami Co., Ltd.), a lightweight artificial ground planting system with excellent water retention and drainage properties, eliminating the need for irrigation. For over 20 years, Sakata Seed’s Landscape & Greenery Division and Green Service have served as exclusive distributors and installation agents for this method, achieving numerous successful projects. Building on this expertise, we have developed original products such as “Dokodemo Garden”, a compact greening unit ideal for small spaces. In commercial facilities, we also create unique displays combining flowers, greenery, and vegetables, which have been highly acclaimed.
Planning, Design, Construction, and Management of Urban Green Spaces and Public Parks
We provide comprehensive proposals for the development and maintenance of urban parks, both public and private, utilizing our expertise as a seed company specializing in flowers and vegetables. Our services cover everything from flowers, trees, and vegetables to turfgrass. Through Japan’s designated management system, we aim to enhance the appeal of facilities and their surrounding communities by creating vibrant spaces. Our track record includes plant care and landscape management at parks such as Kanagawa Prefectural Hodogaya Park, Kanagawa Prefectural Sagamihara Park, Yokohama Irifune Park, and Hiratsuka Banyu Fureai Park, where we create flower-filled environments that enrich public life.
Flower Landscape Production, Design, Construction, and Maintenance
We produce flower landscapes primarily for domestic attractions and commercial facilities, featuring varieties developed by the Sakata Seed Group. Our professional team handles everything from planting to maintenance. Services include the sale of ornamental seeds, large-scale flowerbed installations, event floral decorations, and unique water-based displays such as “Flower Rafts” and “Waterside Containers.” With our advanced horticultural techniques, we bring vibrant floral experiences to life.
Turfgrass Seed Sales and Sports Turf Development and Maintenance
Our turfgrass business ranges from seed sales to the creation and year-round maintenance of sports turf for stadiums and golf courses, as well as schoolyard and parking lot greening. The Flower Overseeding (FOS) Method (co-developed with Kyushu Ground Co., Ltd.) introduces flowers into dormant turf, offering a high-value approach to creating visually appealing green spaces.
